Abstract
Kompleksnom odlukom smatramo svaku odluku koja podrazumijeva odabir između više opcija s mnogobrojnim obilježjima koja ju opisuju. Određene opcije biramo vrlo brzo, često vođeni automatskim procesima, a u druge se pak upuštamo iznimno sporo, pomno razmatrajući faktore u pozadini. Navedeni procesi mišljenja mogu znatno utjecati na kvalitetu odluke koju su brojni istraživači nastojali pouzdano izmjeriti. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je provjeriti utjecaj automatskih, svjesnih i nesvjesnih procesa mišljenja u kontekstu donošenja kompleksne odluke. Sudionici su bili studenti psihologije u rasponu dobi od 19 do 28 godina kojih je bilo sveukupno 175 od čega njih 126 u prvom eksperimentu, a 49 u drugom eksperimentu. Prvi eksperiment nastojao je istražiti ulogu tri različita procesa mišljenja na donošenje subjektivno najbolje, kao i heuristične odluke. Drugim eksperimentom nastojalo se istražiti metakognitivne aspekte donošenja odluka odnosno utvrditi razliku u metakognitivnoj procjeni sigurnosti u vlastiti odgovor isto kao i u sklonosti promjene odgovora ovisno o aktiviranim procesima mišljenja. Pronađena je statistički značajna razlika u donošenju subjektivno najbolje odluke ovisno o procesima mišljenja pri čemu je u uvjetu svjesnog mišljenja češće birana subjektivno najbolja opcija nego u preostala dva uvjeta. Pritom nije pronađena razlika u biranju heuristične opcije ovisno o aktiviranim procesima mišljenja. Metakognitivna procjena sigurnosti u vlastiti odgovor bila je također viša u uvjetu svjesnog mišljenja u odnosu na uvjet automatskog ili nesvjesnog mišljenja, ali se sudionici prema dva početna uvjeta nisu razlikovali niti u procjeni sigurnosti u vlastiti odgovor niti u sklonosti promjene odgovora.
Abstract (english)
A complex decision is any decision which includes choosing among options with numerous describing attributes. Certain decisions are fast, often guided with automatic processes of thought, while other decisions are made much slower with carefull examination of all of the factors. The abovementioned processes of thought can have a significant impact on the quality of decision making. The aim of this research was to investigate the effect of automatic, conscious and unconscious thought processes in the context of decision making. The participants were 175 psychology students from 19 to 28 years old. First experiment intended to investigate the role of three different thought processes on choosing a subjectively best option, as well as TTB heuristic option. The second experiment aimed to investigate metacognitive aspects of decision making, precisely, to determine the differences in feeling of rightness (FOR) as well as the tendency to change the decision, depending on the activated thought processes. Different thought processes determined the choice of the subjectively best option. In the conscious thought condition, participants chose the subjectively best option more often than in the automatic or unconscious thought condition. However, there was no difference between conditions in choosing the TTB heuristic option. The feeling of rightness was significantly higher in conscious thought condition than in automatic or unconscious thought condition, but the two latter conditions did not differ in the judgment of feeling of rightness nor did they differ in the tendency to change the decision.
