Abstract
Cilj ovoga rada je otkriti kako su se odrazile urbane transformacije kroz proces revitalizacije i urbane obnove na mali grad Motovun. U radu su navedene teorije i istraživanja relevantna za temu istraživanja, a u sklopu istraživanja korištena je kvalitativna metodologija. Putem razgovora na uzorku lokalnog stanovništva koje živi ili radi na području Motovuna provedeno je 10 intervjua u razdoblju od ožujka do travnja 2018. godine. Na temelju prikupljenih podataka predstavljene su ključne spoznaje vezane uz prednosti i nedostatke života u malome gradu, analiza participacije stanovnika grada, te se daju smjernice za kriterije budućeg održivog razvoja Motovuna s naglaskom na ulogu i aspiracije lokalne zajednice i očuvanje urbanog identiteta grada.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper is to find out how urban transformations were reflected through the process of revitalization and urban renewal of the small town of Motovun. In this paper, theories and research relevant to the topic of research are listed, and qualitative methodology was used within the research. Through interviews on a sample of the local population living or working in the area of Motovun, 10 interviews were conducted between March and April 2018. Based on the collected data, key advantages and disadvantages are presented of life in a small town, analysis of the participation of city residents and guidelines for future sustainable development of Motovun with emphasis on the role and aspirations of the local community and the preservation of urban identity of the city.
