Abstract
Ovim radom prikazana je kvalitativna studija slučaja koja je nastala kako bi ukazala na vaţnost civilnog društva u urbanom prostornom planiranju u Zagrebu. U prvom djelu rada prikazani su teorijski pogledi nastanka urbanog prostora, razvoj i značenje civilnog društva, klasa i podijeljenost, urbani društveni problemi i pravo na grad. U tom smislu, u istraţivačkom dijelu rada, istraţena je inicijativa Vratite magnoliju koja je nastala prilikom nepravednog uređenja Trga ţrtava fašizma u Zagrebu. U ovom radu se analiziraju stavovi i razmišljanja o preuređenju urbanog prostora iz perspektive civilnog društva kao jednog od četiri tipa društvenih aktera koji sudjeluju u urbanim transformacijama. Prema odgovorima ispitanika pobliţe je istraţena situacija vezana uz njihove aktivnosti glede uređenja Trga ţrtava fašizma. Analizirani su problemi s kojima se susreću u svom radu, percepcija ispitanika o civilnom društvu, javnom prostoru te na posljetku njihov pogled na elite. Istraţivanje je pokazalo da u promatranom slučaju postoje brojni problemi koji se prvenstveno očituju u prevlasti političkih i ekonomskih elita kad je u pitanju urbano planiranje u gradu Zagrebu.
Abstract (english)
This paper presents a qualitative case study that emerged to highlight the importance of civil society in urban spatial planning in Zagreb. The first part of the paper presents theoretical reviews of civil society, classes and divisions, the emergence of urban space, urban social problems and the right to the city. In this respect, in the research part of the paper, the Return Magnolia initiative's views was explored in the unfair design of the Victims of Fascism Square in Zagreb. Thus, this work actually presents the views of civil society members on the situation of urban planning in Zagreb regarding the recent arrangement of the mentioned square. The method used was a semi-structured interview. The problems they encounter in their work, the perception of the respondents about civil society, the public space, and ultimately their view of the elite, have been analyzed. The research has shown that there are numerous problems in the observed case that are primarily reflected in the prevailing political and economic elites when it comes to urban planning in the city of Zagreb.
