Abstract
Shizofrenija označava skupinu poremećaja kod kojih su prisutni određeni simptomi. Simptomi variraju među oboljelima i mogu biti pozitivni ili negativni, te utječu na bolesnikovo razmišljanje, osjećanje, ponašanje, percepciju realnosti i socijalno funkcioniranje. Eysenckov upitnik ličnosti korišten u ovom istraživanju je instrument koji mjeri tri dimenzije ličnosti: ekstraverziju, neuroticizam i psihoticizam. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati postojanje razlike u izraženosti dimenzija ličnosti ovog modela kod skupine ljudi oboljelih od shizofrenije i normativne populacije, koja od shizofrenije ne boluje. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju predviđene značajne razlike u izraženosti i smjeru ekstraverzije i psihoticizma, dok se predviđena razlika u izraženosti neuroticizma pokazala značajnom tek između muških sudionika i muške normativne populacije.
Abstract (english)
Shizophrenia is a chronic disease characterized by its symptoms. The symptoms can either be positive or negative, and they affect a person's feelings, judgment, behavior, perception of reality, and social functioning. Eysenck personality questionnare used in this paper measures three dimensions of personality: extraversion, neuroticism, and psychoticism. The aim of this paper was determining if there is a difference of results produced by this model between individuals with schizophrenia and the normative population. Results indicate significant differences in extraversion and psychoticism, while the predicted difference in degree of neuroticism is shown to be significant between male participants and male normative population only.
