The aim of this paper is to present the Croatian subcultural scene, its origin and beginning in the best possible way and briefly. The most important subcultural groups that once ruled the society are presented and the Croatian specificity is explained. What is being achieved is certainly the development of society itself, and thus the development of social structures and the emergence and disappearance of subcultures. The paper presents an overview of sociological thought on subcultures, showing how the authors of the Chicago and Birmingham schools laid the foundations for its further study, then the same chapter presents the specifics of the Croatian context of youth subcultures and gives a chronological overview. The flow of thought leads us to define a possible new subculture of influencers. By creating new personalized social spaces on the Internet, individuals are given the opportunity to develop their identity and their own autonomy, but an interactive space is also offered to express the subcultural forms to which individuals belong. Research has been conducted to gain a deeper and more personal insight from each individual on his or her understanding of the influencer phenomenon, its main characteristics, and on whether certain subcultural elements exist. In this way, one wants to increase the understanding of the phenomenon itself.
